About us
A key focus of the laboratory is the development and optimization of processes related to biogas, biofuels, and hydrogen. We investigate purification routes for biogas upgrading, enabling the production of high-quality biomethane, as well as separation technologies essential for biofuel refinement. In the context of hydrogen, we explore advanced purification and separation techniques that support clean energy applications and the transition toward low-carbon energy systems.
Our research encompasses both fundamental and applied approaches, including adsorption and absorption processes, liquid-liquid extraction, and hybrid systems. By combining experimental work with modeling and simulation, we aim to enhance process performance while minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact.
The laboratory provides a collaborative environment for students, researchers, and industry partners. Through interdisciplinary projects, we address challenges in energy, environmental protection, and sustainable resource management. We are committed to educating highly skilled engineers and researchers equipped to innovate in areas critical to the future of clean energy and sustainable industrial processes.
